A new customer said that a shell project encountered a problem of grain surface. The Mold had no fruit after three times of drying, and the appearance of the product after injection left clear scratches on the fingernail, which could not be removed. Then the problem came, how can we solve this problem?
First of all, we should clarify what factors are related to surface scratches?
Scratches on the surface of plastic products are related to many factors.
The first is related to materials. Soft materials such as PP are more prone to scratches than hard materials such as PC/ABS;
The second is that the product itself has light, the higher the light, the less obvious the scratch, and vice versa;
Third, it is related to texture type. Because of the large and round edges of litchi texture, the scratch resistance will be due to fine texture such as frosting texture;
Fourth, it is related to the microstructure of the texture. The sharper the texture is, the easier it is to get scratches.
