Is installing a smart fingerprint lock really useful?
2023-07-31
Speaking of the Smart Lock , many people are familiar with it. Just need a card, or input several groups of numbers, or press a fingerprint, the door will be opened easily, which is not only convenient but also very different. But Smart lock are commonly used in hotels or some business places. If a smart fingerprint lock is installed on the door of your own house, does it feel like a "standout"? The accommodation environment of ordinary residential buildings is usually equipped with access control at the entrance and unit doors of the community, with cameras set up around the perimeter, and security guards patrolling the community from time to time. Under such "layer by layer protection", it seems that sufficient security has been ensured. Therefore, is it necessary for us to install intelligent fingerprint locks on our anti-theft doors? Before considering this issue, let's carefully consider whether our mechanical locks are truly anti-theft? Can thieves who have received professional training in unlocking be 100% defeated? Alternatively, let's recall whether the following scenarios often occur: 1. I forgot to bring my key when I went out, and I had to seek help from the unlocking master when I got home, which may also damage the door. 2. The key is lost and there is no spare key available, so we can only change the lock. 3. The key is missing, I suspect I forgot to remove it when I inserted it in the door, and I always worry about when the thief will come to visit. 4. Temporarily went out and emptied the garbage without a key, and the door closed when the wind blew. 5. Elderly people at home often forget to close the door, and children who are too young may accidentally run out on the stairs and cause danger. 6. Have a bad habit of misplacing keys, which can easily be copied by others. 7. Have OCD and always feel that the door is not locked properly when going out. 8. Residents in the community are often locked and stolen by thieves.
